Another Documentary About Debt: In Debt We Trust

Posted on 03/29/2007 08:48:00 | Link | Post Comment
Last week in my surfing, I came upon another documentary about debt, In Debt We Trust. In Debt We Trust was written, directed, and produced by journalist Danny Schechter and, according to the website, it "shows us how the mall replaced the factory as America's dominant economic engine."

The film was inspired by the book Credit Card Nation by Dr. Robert Manning and Manning served as the film's editorial advisor.

Over the next few months the film will be playing in selected cities (alas, not mine). The trailer can be viewed on the website.
