Robert Scoble, pioneer blogger, internet gadfly, and serious thinker about how technology impacts society, is visiting China. His latest post is here. Although lots of people have written about the intersection of low-cost Chinese manufacturing and internet-enabled supply chains, Scoble has (just) done the best job of capturing what it really means -- and, especially, what it really means if you don't live in Shenzhen, but in a "rich" country. He also talks about how second-generation applications like Twitter accelerate the entire process.
