I guess this is what happens to any cultural icon -- you become a public good, free to be used the language of the culture, even those dimensions of it that portray a malevolent universe that would have been repulsive to Ayn Rand. From the film A Scanner Darkly, a junkie commits suicide:

The planning part had to do with the artifacts he wanted found on him by later archaeologits. He had spent several days deciding, much longer than he had spent deciding to kill himself. He decided he would be found lying on his back in his bed with a copy of Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead and an unfinished letter to Exxon protesting the cancellationm of his gas credit card.
