I'll make no secret about it. Ron Paul is my man for the Republican nomination. Unrealistic? I don't care. I vote principles, not pragmatism. What makes him so unlikely a candidate is what makes him so wonderful. From MSNBC's coverage of Thursday night's debate, the very last paragraph:
Paul, meanwhile, used the opportunity to give a second airing to the traditional Libertarian principles he espoused as a candidate in 1988 on the Libertarian ticket. Alone among the candidates, he opposed issuance of identity cards to immigrants and called for abolition of the Internal Revenue Service.Here are some video highlights.
