New York Times "public editor" Byron "Barney" Calame can't quite bring himself to say it, but all the facts are there in his column today. Executive editor Bill Keller initially claimed the NSA wiretap story of December, 2005, had not been delayed until after the 2004 presidential election. Now Keller admits that it was.
