The Washington Stock Exchange goes live, offering online futures contracts on political events, much like Tradesports.com. The big difference is that WSX is a "play money" exchange, where at Tradesports you have to bet the long green. I'm skeptical that whatever symbolic awards accrue from winning at WSX could possibly motivate enough traders to participate fully enough to mobilize the "wisdom of crowds."
