So Somebody Uses Pownce!

Posted on 06/03/2008 00:42 AM | Link | Post Comment

Somebody out there must still be using Pownce because I just got hit with multiple emails as someone uploaded files for sharing.

Now, while I normally wouldn't mind these emails if they were only 1 every now and then, when I receive 5 in a row it starts to feel like spam.

I've just gone into my settings on Pownce and deactivated most of the email notifications and alerts, which was not actually what I wanted to do.

I wanted to go in and select the option to have a single "daily digest" of activity sent to me, but alas, the option was not available.

So, now Pownce becomes even less of a valuable service to me as I'm not going to be aware of half of the activity that goes on there (and I don't need or want to install yet another desktop client).

Do you use Pownce and why?
