How goes it all?

I know I fell of the map for a few months. The world has been hectic lately, and I've been unable to blog for awhile now. Just to give you some quick updates: I moved from Los Angeles to New York City, repurposed my skill set at work, started heavily networking through the city, learned how to imitate New Englanders (New Englandas), and started training for a half marathon to raise money and awareness for Crohn's disease and Colitis.

Seeing as how this is an all-money blogging site, I think its only appropriate to plug my fundraising efforts for Team Challenge New York. We're training for a half marathon in December to raise money and awareness for people with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. So come check out Crohn's TeamChallenger and help spread the word. The more people reading and contributing the better. And don't feel obligated to donate, this is the early inception of TeamChallenger and all I want is to build the community. If you or a loved one has Crohn's then please contribute to this effort however possible.

Here are five reasons to become a hero for someone you know, or nobody at all.

1.) You'll be helping people with a serious debilitating illnesses

2.) There is currently no cure for Crohn's, this is your chance to join the movement that could change that.

3.) 80% of all money donated goes directly to carefully chosen research grants.

4.) You only have to donate. I have to run the marathon! And I'll do it in ridiculous short shorts if I exceed my goal by enough. Because I will shamelessly put my pride aside for this cause.

5.) It's almost the end of the year, and a tax write-off definitely wouldn't hurt!

So there you have it folks. Read Crohn's TeamChallenger and tell your friends to do the same. If you have any comments or suggestions, please leave them there or tweet them to me @NCollard.
