Realogy CEO: Good news buried by media

Here's what Alex Perriello , CEO of the Realogy Franchise Group (owner of brands such as Century 21, Coldwell Banker, ERA and Sotheby’s) told RISMedia about a marketing campaign blaming the media for the industry's challenges: “The unfortunate reality here is that good news seems to get buried in the newspapers and it's the negative headlines that get all the attention. What we're trying to do [with the ad] is motivate buyers with the facts. Mortgage interest rates have come down, there's an ample supply of inventory and homes are selling.” Full story can be read by CLICKING HERE

That's all fine and dandy, but I do not believe that the realtor community should be cheerleading the housing market at this time like Wall St. did with the NASDAQ in 2000.
