1. UrbanDigs - Noah writes about NYC Real Estate, and has an interesting piece on FSBO Tips. For sale by owner is a good read and I would add that you do not need a real estate contract (in some states) where the title/escrow company can carry out the instructions. But, if you use a state contract, have it reviewed by an attorney.

2. Curbed SF - I love reading anything about my beloved San Francisco and keeping up with the housing market, even if the blog is negative.

3. CNNMoney.com great news and commentary daily

4. Seeking Alpha "Housing" - I read the Housing Bubble and Real Estate Market Tracker on Dec 11th, 2006 in Market Overview by Judy Weil regularly and post it when possible. Judy usually finds articles on commercial property, highlights new blogs and comments on REITs.

5. Housing Vacancies and Homeownership (CPS/HVS) from the US Census Bureau

6. The OFHEO - I read the House Price Index each quarter and check historical prices for various cities here.

7. PMI GROUP - I like to read their press releases containing market data and graphs.

8. RealEstateJournal.com - Two to three fresh stories a day and a Commercial page as well. I wish they would update their commercial sectors reports more often.

9. DQ News - California Monthly Housing Sales Reports, Bay Area and Southland reports.
