Youtorrent Is Like Google For Torrents

If you often download torrents from public torrent sites, then you probably know the pain involved in finding torrents, especially those rare ones. YouTorrent.com makes things easier for us to search multiple torrent sites at once. Unlike, my ex-favorite ScrapeTorrent, YouTorrent is lightning fast and uses modern web technology such as AJAX to sort search results by size, seeders, peers, or engine.

At present, they index torrents from 12 well known sites. When you perform a search, it uses AJAX to quickly pull results from torrent sites in real time. It also lets me switch pages without having to reload the entire page.

Within three days of launch, YouTorrent has reached over 150000 searches per day. As of now, they don't have any ads on their pages, but I wouldn't be surprised (nor disappointed) to see ads which will help them cover up their hosting costs.

Some features like Boolean search parameters are still due to arrive. Overall, it's a great site for finding those hard-to-find torrents.
