Selling HOC and FTO. Adding DAKT.

Posted on 08/22/2006 06:24 AM | Link | Post Comment
I will be selling the energy related positions today, FTO and HOC. I had a pretty nice move in FTO and I'll take it. I will be adding DAKT today looking for a bit of a fill on that pretty large gap.

Quick note on ETF's:

As I review the best performers of the ETF sectors clear themes are sticking out:

1. Emerging Markets

2. Europe

3. Natural Resources

Keep an eye on these sectors to see which ones decide to continue their moves.

Yesterday was one of the slowest days in the equity markets I can remember in a long time. We are in full pre-holiday summer mode. Moves during these periods can whipsaw and have exaggerated moves.

I will be a little late into the trading room today as I have another doctors appointment with the daughter this morning. Feel free to stop in during market hours if you have not in the past.

Have a Great Day!
