DayveJohnson on the Markets

Posting my thoughts and trades as I take on the challenges that the financial markets will bring. Especially suited for end of day traders who also have a full-time job. Hopefully my years of experience can be a valuable asset to the trading blog universe. And please do your own research, I am not responsible for your personal trading decisions

Selling CME and OII. Adding HOC.

Posted on 08/18/2006 09:04 AM | Link | Post Comment
I will be selling the positions in CME and OII today. I had smaller advances in those than you would typically see but the system says it's time to go. I will be adding a position in HOC to lower my total positions to 2 out of 5 possible. HOC and MDRX.

The market is now clearly overbought in the short term and a pullback would be in order. It would be positive if we pullback in a constructive orderly manner and not brisk free fall stuff. We'll see over the next few trading days.

I have only received a few responses to my request for a long term investment idea. I am always so focused on the short term that your help would be appreciated (see last post for details).

Have a Great Day!
