No Portfolio Changes Today. Utilities ETF.

No good buy setups today for the swing portfolio. I am going to have to be patient as I wait for the next wave of buys. A controlled pullback would be nice. Haha. Like the market cares what I want. As you have probably noticed the Utilities sector has performed quite well recently. I have an ETF trend following system that was alerted to the move yesterday and I may begin to add a little bit in that area on pullbacks. The symbol that triggered was PUI the PowerShares Dynamic Utilities Portfolio. As with any type of system that chases performance use caution. But the potential for interest rates to stop their rise may be what is driving the market as well as strong earnings growth in this arena. Cohen and Steers had a recent research piece on the sector. Do you use line charts? Probably not. Have a Great Day, Dave Johnson dayvejohnson@gmail.com
