I received an email from katherine.guirales@nbcuni.com that seemed to imply the CNBC Streaming Video Beta is coming. Only thing is the email had all the images blanked out. Weird. But I followed where the link on one of the images was supposed to go and it pointed to:

After poking around a little I found a link to a sign up for a free trial. I had to input my credit card info. But walla. I had streaming CNBC. I don't even know how long the free trial is or how much it will cost when that ends. Not sure if the email was a mistakenly sent. Is it part of a larger campaign? I have no idea.


Regardless, It offers archives on CNBC segments as well as the streaming US version available from 4:00am - 6:00pm EST and 7:00pm - 8:00pm EST.

It's actually quite funny because today while trading I mentioned in the chatroom how unusual it was that they did not offer this. Bloomberg offers the live stream for free so I will be curious to see what this thing will offer that Bloomberg does not.
