Funny Money Friday: Another Reason Not To Use Credit Repair
Money doesn&39;t have to be boring! Each week, CreditBloggers.com takes a look at the lighter side of the personal finance world in a series called Funny Money Friday.
Ah, credit repair. A perennially good target for jokes on Funny Money Friday! This week, I bring you a sales video for a credit repair training program. It&39;s a unique backstage look at the industry that promises everything and delivers nothing but trouble.
This video advertises a pamphlet called "$$$ $$$ How toBecome a Credit Repair Consultant !" (sic) that is available for sale on eBay for only $50. You know the quality is excellent when there are typos right on the cover. And lest you doubt the quality, the video opens with footage of space shuttle landing. Click here to watch it yourself:
Is this who you want handling your credit? Making decisions that will stay on your credit report for 7+ years? Some guy who paid $50 for this training manual and has no experience in the credit industry?
If this isn&39;t enough to convince you that credit repair is a bad idea check out Credit.com&39;s article called "The Truth about Credit Repair." Have a great holiday weekend!
