A Zecco Review

Posted on 12/02/2006 10:15:00 | Link | Post Comment

ML, at My 1st Million at 33, is test driving Zecco.com as a low cost brokerage.

Zecco is one of the latest ventures to join the low/no commission online brokerage game, and much like Sogo Invest, Bank of America, TD Ameritrade, and ETrade (among others), they are trying to blow open a new niche in the discount brokerage market.

So far so good for ML, as he's got his initial ACH transfer deposited into his Zecco account.

Check out the post to follow up on his experience.

Don't never ever open the account with them.
I open one and now i try to get my money out and run away.
- You can put money in easy , but out : no way
- The site is worst i never seen in my life (when you visit the site is ok, but when you login already is worse)
- the customer service is worst (can not contact them)
- Not enough data for research
- they never last long and you will lose your your money

I deposited a check. Check cleared. When I placed 2 orders, they were both rejected with no explanation. Tried calling. Was placed on hold with no one ever answering. Wrote email; no response yet. The site is very bad, with minimal functionality.

I have been using Zecco for six months and I am very happy with my account!

I've had my account for over a year without any incidents. I have deposited and withdrawn to and from my external checking account several times without any problems.

For me; free trades means more money to invest.
