Nortel Settles, Banks Rumble Along

Nortel has settled their lawsuit with the Ontario Securities Exchange by paying a fine which effectively covers the OSC expenses in the lawsuit. Differing views if this is punitive, or simply a recoup of moneys spent, but have a read, it is interesting.

TD Canada Trust announced good numbers today, and Bank of Montreal did ok yesterday too, but again, my DRIP is going to get snookered because I don't have enough shares in these two powerhouses. Darn!

BMO did this even with their resource commodity traders being put under investigation mostly due to their incompetence? Strange stuff, you would have thought it nearly impossible to lose money in the world of resource trading?

Expect more construction on the web site, any commentary would be appreciated as well!
