Keep those e-mails

I am now kicking myself, as I have mislaid my e-mail that promised me a refund from my friendly Electrical Utility company (the $800 refund), and now I don't know who(m) to rant at, my guess is I'll have to start at the beginning again.
Always keep meticulous records when it comes to refunds you should receive. A lot of times companies assume that if they delay, you might forget and then they get to keep your money for that much longer, which is good for them, but ultimately BAD for you.
If you are a lazy sod such as myself, force yourself to be that much more meticulous, because it's people like us that these companies are attempting to bilk money from.
