I'm Part Of The Conservative Party Platform?

Posted on 02/01/2007 13:36:00 | Link | Post Comment
Call it a coincidence if you like, but I have just received the new Reform Conservative Party of Canada platform from my member of Parliament, and right there emblazoned under the Fiscal Policy is none other than:
"A Conservative Government will create tax fairness for families by eliminating inequities between single and dual income families..."
For those of you new to this rant blog, one of my first postings was that the Income Tax system penalizes single income families in Canada (click here for the first posting about that). Now the Conservatives are adding it to their platform? Do I get some payback here? I could do some blogging for Canada and charge the Government say $2M (Cdn)? I could write some blogs about fiscal responsibility and Debt Reduction in Government for $1M?

No? Man, just like me, give away my good ideas for nothing. --C8J
