Extended Warranties: More Update

Posted on 09/20/2006 00:00 AM | Link | Post Comment
Finally got the bill for the work done last week, and holy cow, that extended warranty just saved me a bus load of money:
  • Upper and Lower head gasket replacement, which included 7 hours of technician work, holy cow! That alone is going to pay for the extended warranty. Lots of oil and coolant replaced and a bunch of other good stuff.
  • The condenser for the A/C is going to be replaced (another thing that would cost almost as much as I paid for my extended warranty).
  • Reversing sensors replaced too.
In this case, that extended warranty has paid for itself. The only thing I regret is that I waited 2 years until I got it (should have bought it when I bought the car, because it was cheaper back then). Still in this case, it's a win.
