Explanation For Rss Readers

Posted on 02/03/2007 05:27 AM | Link | Post Comment
Hey folks who read my stuff on RSS (using feedburner I hope, click on the chiclet on the side on how to set that up), my apologies for the odd set of articles you have been receiving. I have been cleaning out SPAM comments from my articles (and let me tell you I have cleaned out over 300 of them so far). I have also been reformatting some of the articles (a remnant of my ill fated back up attempt from Wordpress). I got fed up looking at my old articles in my archive and seeing hundreds of SPAM comments.

For those of you who are not sure what I mean by SPAM comments, it's a comment by someone that is simply a set of links back to their pages. Typically these pages are simply Adsense links completely, with no real content at all. I have turned on moderating comments from now on, so you shouldn't be able to get a comment up without me reading it first (apologies, but this is the best way to stop these vermin).

More content is coming, but I figured I'd put up this apology as well. --C8j
