The federal minimum wage goes from $5.15 to $5.85 per hour, on Tuesday.
Which doesn't make much difference to us, here in Massachusetts.
Our minimum wage is set at $7.50, to rise to $8.00 on January 1, 2008.
How does this compare with other states? Pretty damn good.
Connecticut: $7.65
Oregon: $7.80
Washington: $7.93
The lowest minimum wage in the 50 US states?
Kansas: $2.65
