Life In These United States

You know, there are only so many hours in the day.
Therefore, when I'm walking down Boylston Street near Copley Square and am confronted by all these people, whom should I stop to talk with?
* The people from the "Save The Children" foundation, looking for donations;
* The kids selling candy bars "for our football team";
* The homeless (I assume) guy selling "Spare Change";
* The homeless (I assume) guy holding the door open to the CVS with one hand (and an empty cup in the other);
* The obnoxious newspaper vendor waving a Metro in my face;
or,
* The guy from CitiBank who asks, "How would you like an ice cream sandwich?"
