Existing Housing Sales Drop In April
Well, apparently the news released earlier this week that home sales had increased 16%, month-to-month, was only new home sales.
Existing home sales dropped during April, when compared to last year.
The National Association of Realtors reported yesterday that sales of existing homes dropped 2.6 percent last month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.99 million units, the slowest sales pace in nearly four years.
Nationwide, there is a glut of housing for sale. In Boston, not so much.
