City Hall
The Globe runs three letters to the editor today, all three defending Boston's City Hall.
Not surprisingly, all three authors are architects, and all three defend the building on the basis of its design, not its function.
The building is terrible. Let me be clear. It's an abomination. It's horrific. It's depressing. It's heartbreaking.
Whether or not the city should move its headquarters to the waterfront is a separate topic (in my opinion, NO, stupid idea).
It is a FACT, however, that City Hall is pretty much useless and pretty much the worst building, inside and out, in the entire city.
Sell the building and all its real estate, take the profits, and build something new, somewhere else (might I suggest Dudley Square?).
