We're looking for a way to promote area developments while raising money for two homeless shelters.

We thought of the condoRun as a way to do this. It's a video we are making promoting 20 area developments, including 360 Newbury, The Modern, the InterContinental, and HarborView.

The video will appear on our website www.thecondorun.com, as well as be promoted on www.condodomain.com and other video sites, such YouTube and a bunch of blogs. Turn Here will also be taping the event.

The video will be fun and also informative.

Developers are paying to be a part of the tour. Money raised will be donated to the Pine Street Inn and St Francis House.

Developers who contribute will get a free month of advertising on the condoDomain website. This means they get a special page devoted just to their development.

By the way, real estate agents can already put their individual listings on condoDomain; these listings show up in searches on properties, but the listings don't get their own special page.

The concept is not so much a "run" as a "tour".

However, if anyone in the real estate industry would like to participate by running, we would accommodate (hmm, that word has two Ms?) them; they can run, and will actually be made a part of the video, and get to introduce themselves. In return, they would pay $200.

I don't know why, it'll probably be snowing!
