Bcae Building For Sale; Others Available, Call Me Today!
The headquarters for the Boston Center for Adult Education is for sale, according to the Globe.
I think this would make a great single-family home, although the assumption is that a buyer would convert it into condos.
In today's article, the status of two other listings for sale is updated:
Down the street, buildings at 128 and 130 Commonwealth Ave. are also for sale. Dickerson is marketing 128 Commonwealth on behalf of its owner, car dealer Herb Chambers. Last week, she dropped the asking price to $11.95 million, from $14.95 million.
Chicago auctioneer Sheldon Good & Co. was unable to sell the mansion at 130 Commonwealth in a June 28 auction. It is still on the market.
The $11.95 million for the Chambers estate is a much-more practical number.
However, it's true, there is a very-limited number of buyers for such a property. It really is just a matter of waiting for one to show up. I mean, it's not like NYC where they sell a $12 million property, once a week.
